glimpse at HOW feature

here is a little glimpse of the feature
i have in the October issue of HOW magazine

it is just a sneak peek but thought it
would be nice for those of you who
cannot access the magazine from where
you live

surprisingly, i had no trouble at all finding
it in mexico which is a pretty good sign
i'd say

Que Pasa Cover

in san miguel de allende, mexico
there is a very cool newspaper printed
both in spanish and english called

atencion

they have a pull-out entertainment section
called que pasa and luckily i was able to do
their cover illustration for this week

but what is even better is
now i am going to be
doing illustrations for them on an on-going basis

can you think of a better way to get to know a town,
its people and whats the happs

this week i did a "spot the difference" illustration
for the guardian newspaper in the uk

and they liked it so much
i think i might be the official

how fun would that be?

when you were a kid...

Oakley Sunglasses

lucky!!

i just found out I was short-listed to design for the
Oakley artist's series: sunglasses, box and sleeve.

super happy about this one because I created
the design with so many friends of mine in mind
I think I am going to have to give a pair
to almost everyone I know.

plus there is a golden little buddha snuck into each one for
good luck. these are like the fortune cookie of sunglasses!

Won GOLD for Volkswagen

very happy to announce i just won

the GOLD prize
in Montreaux, Switzerland

for the Volkswagen billboards i created with Grabarz & Partners

to celebrate i have added this photo
of my proud ma looking at one of
my online interviews, sigh

i would be nothing without her
she is a glistening, charming, loving
gem of a woman
